Hexagon is a global leader in digital reality and autonomous technologies — with a powerful USP in the mining sector: a fully connected suite of solutions across the entire mining lifecycle.
The problem? Most customers only know the product relevant to their slice of the process. Hexagon’s big picture — and its value as an integrated, cross-process solution — was getting lost.
INSIGHT
Hexagon’s products are deeply technical and purpose-built for each phase of mining. But the audience we needed to reach — senior managers and C-suite decision-makers — often lacked the detailed operational knowledge to fully understand each individual product.
SOLUTION
We created an immersive digital experience that turned a complex product suite into an intuitive narrative.
At its core: an interactive 3D journey through both open-pit and underground mines — made up of 35+ animated stations, each aligned to a familiar mining production stage. This structure allowed us to guide different types of users through content that matched their knowledge and needs.
Lateral journeys gave non-technical stakeholders — including C-suite — a high-level view of cross-process benefits and how data flows across the operation.
Vertical journeys offered in-depth insights for engineers, experts, and implementers — supporting later-stage decision-making.
The experience made the complexity understandable, the value undeniable — and the results spoke for themselves:
$42 million in new opportunities within the first 6 months.
