Automated data processing
CHALLENGE
PwC asked us to find a way to engage their audience for their automated tax data collection tools.
INSIGHT
The complex nature of the technology meant the focus was on explanation. But with the users and buyers of the system often lacking the expertise to truly understand the technical details the result was a lack of engagement.
SOLUTION
We translated the complex automated data process into an interactive visual journey, focussing on what it does rather how it does it. We placed the viewers inside the server, where they would follow the data along it process. We translated abstract terms like ‘security’ into visual elements like a fence and allowed people to learn through interaction, for example using the idea of a ‘Rubik’s cube’ to communicate the process of data encryption.
The experience is done in groups of uptown 5 people and takes about 15 min.
It has taken our client by storm and is now traveling the globe.
